Our client - a leading IT services company, is seeking a new member of a team responsible for preparing management accounts and statutory reports for this fully listed Plc.
Main responsibilities are management accounting for elements of company:
Preparing accounts for elements of business (responsibility for different elements of business to be rotated around team) and critically reviewing these, escalating issues and providing commentary as required;
Giving financial analysis support to these elements of business.
Continually reviewing working management accounting processes and procedures and implementing improvements where necessary and practical
Statutory accounting for fully listed Plc:
On rotating basis with another member of team, project managing team?s work on Plc full-year statutory accounts and interim accounts; Undertaking work on subsidiary company statutory accounts; Any other ad hoc duties as deemed appropriate to role.
Candidate Requirements - Essential:
Graduate (2:1 min); ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA qualified
Candidate Requirements - Desirable:
ICAEW or ICAS qualified with first time exam passes
Training with leading accountancy practice
Due to both inherent nature of the company and very nature of IT industry, this post will evolve in light of experience. Key requirement for jobholder will be positive embracing of change and evolution of style * performance accordingly.
